Most yachts visiting Curaçao anchor Spanish Water Bay, a naturally sheltered large bay, which is free of charge.
However, docking at the various yacht clubs located at Spanish Water Bay is not free of charge; neither is docking in the harbor.
Facilities
The most popular facility providers are:
Curaçao Yacht Club
Sarifundy's Marina
Seru Boca Marina
The facilities vary widely, ranging from the most basic facilities including a restaurant at Sarifundy's Marina to Seru Boca Marina's floating slips for 68 vessels up to 50 feet in length.
At Seru Boca Marina there are two piers at the end of the two main docks that can accommodate vessels of varying lengths. The main dock has its own finger pier for easy access onto a vessel docked in the slip.
Electricity and water are available at the slips. Dockage fees are based on the size of the vessel and include privileges at Santa Barbara Resort's private beach, Barbara Beach, with free access to the Beach pier and Fuik Bay.
The Curaçao Yacht Club is open to members of the club only. For more information about becoming a member contact the CYC. The club offers piers that can accommodate yachts of varying sizes. Water and electricity are available. Dockage fees are based on the size of the vessel.
Curaçao offers state-of-the art dry-dock facilities for repairs to yachts. Some yacht clubs also provide repair facilities
